Third Grade Supply List

2008-2009

ALL 3^RD GRADE:

24 Wooden pencils – no. 2 lead (Please have 4-5 SHARPENED Pencils when school starts)

Covered pencil sharpener – not battery operated

Disposable mechanical pencil (optional)

Eraser

Glue – 4 oz. squeeze bottle

6 glue sticks

2 boxes 24 count crayons

2 boxes of markers (basic colors)

4-6 “Dry Erase” markers - EXPO Black Low Odor (Light colors do not show)

Soft zippered supply bag (no hard boxes)

Sharp pointed scissors – 4 ½” size (MUST BE GOOD BRAND)

Please provide left-handed scissors for left-handed pupils.

2 packages White lined wide ruled paper

Two spiral notebooks

Ruler with both 12 inch and 30 centimeter measurements – (no bendable rulers)

Zip lock plastic bags (quart and gallon size)

Pair of tennis shoes – May use an old pair if in good condition. Please, no backless shoes.

2 Large boxes of tissues

*8 - 10 folders with pockets - NO SLICK COVERS (Coe, Meuser, Shields, and Talbert)

Old sock or washcloth to be used as dry erase board erasers

4 Yellow Highlighters

1 sturdy plastic pocket folder for music

ADDITIONAL:

Mrs. Waugh (McCoy)

1 Accordian folder with at least 6 slots

*Only need 4 folders with pockets instead of 8 – 10 folders

PLEASE LABEL EVERYTHING WITH CHILD’S NAME.

Being properly “tooled is important. Because many of these supplies do not last, we appreciate you keeping your child supplied throughout the year. Also, valuables or items not needed for the educational process should not be brought to school. Thank you.

**NO TRAPPER KEEPERS OR 3-RING BINDERS WILL BE PERMITTED AT SCHOOL, AS THEY DO NOT FIT IN THE DESKS.
