~About Me~

I grew up on a farm near Elliott, IL and graduated from Gibson City High School. I received a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois and worked as a C.P.A. for many years. After deciding to become a teacher, I earned a masters degree from Olivet Nazarene University.

I live in Gibson City with my husband, Dave, and our three children: Ross, Darrin, and Haley.

Outside of school,  I am a music director for the ACT Theater Company, and the organist for my church. I play the piano, organ, and saxophone. I also enjoy playing bridge.

My family bleeds orange and blue (Illini and Chicago Bears)!
