Athletic Directors’ MINUTES

Agenda:

1. The 2009-10 SVC Calendar was reviewed. A reminder that beginning in February 2010, the site of the Tea Room will move to a new location, next to Hardees on Route 9.

2. The 2009 Volleyball Tourney Report was given—the tourney made $1215.

3. The 2010 Girl’s Basketball Tourney (start page) was reviewed, pairings/brackets were reviewed. Clifton Central and Iroquois West are the hosts, with Clifton Central being the championship side host and at Parkland. Timelines were discussed for season summaries, seeding, rosters, etc. all of these dates are on the start page.

4. The 2010 Boy’s Basketball Tourney (start page) was reviewed, pairings/brackets were reviewed. Watseka and Momence are the hosts, with Watseka being the championship side host and at Parkland. Timelines were discussed for season summaries, seeding, rosters, etc. all of these dates are on the start page.

5. A possible Tie Breaker in Soccer was discussed. The proposed addition to the soccer bylaw is in bold and underlined.

6. Mr. Landon informed the Athletic Directors that Cissna Park and Milford were exploring options for a possible COOP in all sports. This if it happens would probably be for the 2011-12 school year. He said he will keep the Athletic Directors informed.

7. Information on the possible online film exchange in football will be researched and reported back at the February meeting.
