Athletic Directors Minutes September 3, 2008

 

1.  All schools were present.

 

2.  The 2008-09 calendar was reviewed.

 

2.  There will not be an official Cross Country meet this year, due to only 4 schools offering the sport.

 

3.  The 2008 SVC golf meet will be at Shewami in October 2nd.  (information online)

 

4.  A review of the volleyball tourney was held.  All games will be in Paxton on Thursday October 23rd and Saturday October 25th.   Seeds will be posted on Friday October 17th.

 

5.   The girl’s basketball tourney will be held at St. Joseph-Ogden and St. Thomas More and then Parkland.

 

6.  The boy’s basketball tourney will be held at Iroquois West and CPCI, then Parkland.

 

7.   The SVC track meet will be held in Paxton.

 

8.  John Overstreet will begin to work on schedules for the 10-11 and 11-12 school years in all sports.  The dates and sites will be the corresponding dates.

 

9.  A review of 2008-09 fall and winter schedules was held.
