Section 14:  Selection All Conference Football Teams.

A. Each head coach shall submit nominations for their team for all-conference consideration. Coaches may submit statistical and descriptive information, and this information will be considered at a meeting of the coaches to be held on a date determined by the Legislative body. Each head coach may compile individual statistics for each of the players nominated. This information should be for Conference Varsity games only. A list of each coach's nominations shall be delivered to the Executive Secretary at least 2 days prior to the scheduled meeting. A coach may make changes at the meeting. The nominations will be discussed and voted on by ballot at the meeting. All ballots will be returned to the Executive Secretary and shall be available for review by the coaches at the meeting.

B.  Any player may be nominated and elected to the offensive and defensive teams and kicking specialists, but only if his coach submits his name and information on both team list as provided in A. of this section.

Section 14:  Selection All Conference Football Teams.

C.  The offensive team shall consist of the following:

i.  1 quarterback

ii.  3 running backs

iii.  5 offensive lineman

iv.  2 receivers

v. 1 Tight End

vi. 2 “Flex” Positions---A majority of coaches at the meeting shall determine the actual positions—the “flex” positions will be either a running back or receiver.

D.  The defensive team shall consist of the following:

i. 2 Defensive Ends

ii. 2 defensive tackles

iii. 5 Linebackers

iv. 4 defensive backs

E.  Two kicking specialists:

i.  1 punter

ii.  1 kicker

F.  There shall be one offensive team and one defensive team.

G.  Coaches shall not vote for their own players.

H.  The final vote shall be read out loud to after voting is tallied.

I. The next four (4) highest vote “getters” regardless of position, excluding kicker and punter, shall be placed on the first team.

J.  Any player receiving at least twenty (20) votes, but not making the first team shall be named to the Special Mention list.

K.  Each coach may nominate one player from his team to the Honorable Mention list.  They shall not be on any other team.

L.  If a tie occurs for the one remaining position on the All-Conference team, all players tied shall make that team.
