Changes in the Sangamon Valley Conference Girl’s Basketball Tournament

The SVC has changed the week of the SVC girl’s tourney beginning in the 2008-09 school year, this means that most contracts for the 2008-09 and 2009-2010 need to be voided.

The new dates of the tourney in 2008-09: Monday Jan. 19, Tuesday Jan. 20, Thursday Jan. 22 and Saturday Jan. 24, games will be in St. Joseph-Ogden or St. Thomas More and at Parkland

The new dates of the tourney in 2009-10: Monday Jan. 18, Tuesday Jan. 10, Thursday Jan. 21 and Saturday Jan. 23, games will be in Clifton Central or Gilman and at Parkland.

If you had games on either 1-15-09 or 1-14-10, there is a strong chance that you may be able to work a regular season SVC game those night.
