On behalf of WCHS High School, I would like to welcome you to the Sangamon Valley Golf Tournament. In your planning for this event, please note the following information.

DATE: Thursday, October 2^nd, 2008

TIME: 9:00 A.M. – Check in by 8:15 a.m. Please note this is an 18 hole event.

LOCATION: Shewami Golf Course,Sheldon, IL

DRESS CODE: As defined by the IHSA state tournament series terms and conditions.

FEES: $30.00 per student ($180.00 per team). Make checks payable to Shewami Golf Course, and send to the above address, or bring with you on the day of the Tournament. The fee includes greens fees, one large bag of range balls, and lunch for each golfer.

PARTICIPANTS: Clifton Central, CPCI, Iroquois West, Momence, PBL, St. Joseph Ogden, St. Thomas More, Tri-point, and Watseka

TEAM: Each team will be allowed 6 players and the top 4 scores will count toward team scores.

AWARDS: A team trophy will be presented to the top team. Team ties will be broken by the score of the 5^th players. If a tie still exists, we will use the 6^th players score. If a tie still remains, total team score on the highest handicap hole will be used. (4players)

Medals will be awarded to the top ten individuals. Ties for medalists will be broken by a sudden death playoff starting on a hole of the Pros choosing. Ties for 2^nd thru 10^th will be broken by a scorecard playoff starting with the 10^th hole.
