Re:  Summer Miles/Practice

 

It is that time to start thinking about Cross Country for next fall.  There are no formal practices scheduled during the summer, the Park District may have some fun runs though.  The best way to get ready for the start of practice on Monday August 16th is to get in as many miles as you can during the summer.  Any miles that you run after July 1st will count towards your mile club.  You can email me the miles week by week and I will record them and post them on the CC web page.  Remember the more miles you get in this summer the more prepared you will be for the fall season.

 

Make sure that you get an updated physical this summer if needed and have it turned into the high school office before the start of practice.  You will also need an insurance waiver signed and turned in before you can start practice.

 

Listed below are important dates and times and on the back is the schedule for next fall.

July 1st—Miles run count towards mile club

August 16th—First practice at the high school—9 am to 10:30 am

August 20th—Pork Chop Kickoff—Team introduced.

August 31st—First meet at home with Villa Grove
