Principals’ Minutes

April 5, 2006

1. The meeting started at 8:20, all schools were present except St. Thomas More.

2. Mr. Pearson of Tri Point made a motion, seconded by Mr. Hawkins of Iroquois West, to accept the minutes of the February 7, 2006 meeting. The motion carried unanimously.

3. The current Treasurer’s Report was presented. Mr. Uphoff of St. Joe made a motion, seconded by Mr. Miller of Crescent, to accept the Treasurer’s Report. The motion carried unanimously.

4. Mr. Rabideau of Clifton Central made a motion to set dues at $250 for the 2006-07 school year and not to charge any entry fees, this does not include any green’s fees that may be due. Mr. Uphoff seconded. The motion carried unanimously.

5. The 2006-07 Calendar was presented. It was agreed to have the SVC Social at Lakeview Country Club in Loda.

A site for Honor Band is needed. These and other sites for SVC Track and Scholastic Bowl

will be discussed by the Athletic Directors.

6. The Principals discussed the possible creation of a Bud Maynard type award. The Bud Maynard Award is an award given thru Blue Ridge High School which will not be part of the SVC next year.

7. The following officers were elected for the 2006-07 school year:

President Mr. Jeff Maurer of Cissna Park (motion by Mr. Miller, second by Mr. Uphoff)

Vice-Pres. Mr. Kim Hawkins of Iroquois West (motion by Mr. Maurer, second by Mr. Buchanan)

Secy/Treasurer---John Overstreet of PBL (motion by Mr. Pearson, second by Mr. Rabideau.

8. The meeting adjourned at 9:15.
