Minutes
April 9, 2008 Meeting
1. Mr. Miller of Crescent Iroquois made a
motion, seconded by Mrs. Pappas of Momence to approve the minutes of March 12, 2008 meeting. The motion carried unanimously.
2.
Mr. Millage of St. Thomas More made a motion,
seconded by Mr. Brooks of St. Joe to approve the Treasurer’s Report. The motion carried unanimously. (past
years)
3.
A discussion of dues for the 2008-09 school year
was held. Currently dues are $250 per
school. Mr. Hawkins of Iroquois West made
a motion to set dues for the 2008-09 school year at
$250, Mrs. Pappas seconded. The motion
carried unanimously.
4.
Mr. Miller made a motion, seconded by Mr. Hawkins to spend $100 for a
door prize for the IADA Conference. The
motion carried unanimously.
5.
The Principals discussed Officers for the 2008-09 school year. The election
will be held at the May meeting.
6.
Certificates for the All
Academic Team were passed out.
7.
Scholastic Bowl
Update—no update was given, once results are sent, they will be posted
online.
8.
The Principals discussed the remaining 2007-08 Calendar and 2008-09 calendar.
9.
Mr. Miller made a motion to present a “Friends of the SVC” award at the September
social. The recipient will be named
later.
10.
Mr. Hawkins informed the Principals that the coop in football with Iroquois
West, Tri Point and Crescent Iroquois will be a 2 year agreement and the SVC will
have to approve the COOP at the May meeting.
11.
The Principals selected the 2007-08 SVC Scholarship winners
