Minutes
1. The meeting started at 8:20, all schools
were present.
2. Mr. Flesena of Clifton Central made a motion,
seconded by Mrs. Pappas of Momence to approve the minutes of September 10, 2008 meeting,
the motion carried unanimously.

Mr. Van Meter of Crescent Iroquois made a motion, seconded by Mr.
Hawkins of Iroquois West to Approve the Treasurer’s Report, the
motion carried unanimously.

The Principals discussed Volleyball Tournament Report (Financial report). They also discussed the ACT conflict with the
tournament. Their recommendation is to
move the tournament game times to later in the day on the Saturday with the
first match beginning at

Calendar Review—Mr.
Hawkins made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Pappas not to have a December Meeting. The motion carried unanimously.

The Principals discussed Policy at Athletic Events (Clifton Central’s football policy)

The Principals discussed the development of a SVC Sportsmanship Policy
Committee, Mr. Brooks of St. Joseph-Ogden, Mr. Hawkins, Mr. Van Meter and John
Overstreet will begin to look at other conference’s policies and report back.
7.
John Overstreet reviewed the current IHSA By-law proposals
& Town Meeting.
