2002 Sangamon Valley Conference Scholarships

At the Sangamon Valley Conference Principals meeting on May 1, 2002, the Principals of the SVC awarded five $500 scholarships to students of member schools. The scholarships were based on a combination of Grade Point Average, ACT Test Scores, Class Rank, SVC/SIA (Sangamon Illini Alliance) Sponsored Activities, Local Activities and teacher recommendations.

The five recipients are:

Male Athlete Award: Michael McKean, Cissna Park

Female Athlete Award: Gina Grussing, Armstrong

Academic Award: Joseph Roselius, Crescent-Iroquois

Vocational Award: Mark Butzow, Iroquois West

Fine Arts Award: Kristie Trumble, Crescent-Iroquois
