Minutes of the September 5, 2007 Principals Meeting:

The meeting started at 8:20—all schools were present.

1. Introductions were made.

2. Mr. Buchanan of Watseka made a motion to approve the minutes of May 2, 2007 meeting, Mr. Rawdin of Paxton-Buckley-Loda seconded. The motion carried unanimously.

3. Mr. Hawkins of Iroquois West made a motion to approve the Treasurer’s Report, seconded by Mr. Schuricht, The motion carried unanimously.

4. Schools were reminded to send their $250 dues for 2007-08 to John Overstreet.

5. Social Update—The number attending are due by Friday Sept. 7^th Please send to John Overstreet. The social is on Wednesday September 12^th at 7 pm at Shagbark in rural Onarga.

The Principals decided not to give a Special Award this year.

6. Calendar update—The Principals reviewed the 2007-08 calendar.

There will not be a Principals meeting in October.

The site of the SVC Cross Country meet may be moved to Kickapoo.

A site for Honor Chorus is still needed.

The Athletic Directors will the dates and sites for the SVC track meet.

7. The Principals discussed possible changes in the Scholastic Bowl—this will be discussed at a future meeting.
