Directions to Briadwood Reed Custer.

Take Route 9 west to Route 115. Turn right and go north to Route 24 (about 20 miles) Turn left on 24. Turn right at the 115 turn. Take 115 thru Piper City. At the north end of town it will turn left follow this out of town. Continue north on 115 past Route 116 stop sign. A few miles after you leave Cabery, there will be a 4 way stop. 115 turns right. DO NOT TURN RIGHT—CONTINUE NORTH ON THE COUNTY ROAD.

Take this road north until it Ts into Route 17, shortly after you cross a set of tracks. Turn right and go about 2 miles until you see the Essex sign. Turn left and follow this road for about 10 miles, you will go thru Essex. You will come to another T. Turn left and follow this into Braidwood. The high school will be on your left just as you come into town.

Alternate route thru Piper City:

After you turn onto Route 24, go past the 115 turn about ½ mile and you will see a cemetery. Turn right and take this county road north. You will cross a rough set of tracks and there are a couple of intersections to watch for. This road will take you right to 115.
