Directions to Champaign Central High School

Several events for Central are held at Centennial High School, those directions are below.

Directions to Central High School.

From Route 45: Take Route 45 to Urbana, turn right onto University Ave at the old “5 points” go west, at the stop light after Christie Clinic you will need to turn right and go the next light, Church Street and turn left, you will go about 3 blocks. Just after West Side Park you can turn left and go one block and to get to Central High School. Coombs gym enters from the north side.

From I-57/I-72—Get off at the University Ave exit and go into Champaign. After several blocks you come to Central High School. This is 4-5 blocks after the Prospect Ave stop light.

You can also either get off at Olympian Drive and go to Prospect Ave and take this to University and turn left or go to I-74 East and get off on Prospect and go south to University.

 To Centennial High School for Unit 4 fields:

Take I-57 to the I-72/University Ave exit. Take the University Ave exit and go back east into Champaign. At the first stop light, Country Fair Drive, turn right and until the road Ts into John Street. To get to Centennial High School, turn left and go to the stop sign and turn right. Most events you should park in the first lot you come to on your right. Baseball/Softball and the track are located behind the school.

Softball at Carrie Busey---take I-57 to I-72/University Ave. Take University Ave. to the second stop light, Mattis Ave. Turn right and go south to the 3^rd stop light, Kirby Ave. Turn left and Carrie Busey will be on your right after the shopping center. The field is behind the school.

From Route 45, stay on Cunningham until you come to Florida Ave, just after Urbana High School. Turn right and stay on this until you come to Carrie Busey School.
