Directions to Villa Grove

Cross Country Directions:

Villa Grove does not run CC meets at the High School. They run at farm on the west side of town.

Option 1: Take I-57 south to Tuscola—exit 212. At the light at the end of the exit ramp—turn right—east and go about 2 miles to county road 1250. You will pass a rock quarry on your right and at your turn is a building that is the Douglas County Public Health. Turn left—north onto 1250 and go 1 mile to the north. At the first intersection, turn right—east and go a little over 2 miles. Right after county road 1450E—about .10 of mile, you will turn right—the course is at the farm house. Normally they have a sign out for the course.

Option 2:

Take I-57 south to the Pesotum exit 220. Turn right and take Route 45 west and it will curve back south—take this for 2-3 miles. You will see a sign that says Villa Grove—turn left. This is County Highway 6. Turn Left (east) and follow this road to County Road 1450—turn right (south) follow this south to a T in the road (CTY Road 1050). This is a country road with unmark intersections—be careful!!! At the T—turn left and go about 1/10 of a mile and you will see a farm—the course runs around the farm.

To Villa Grove High School:

Best Route:

Take Route 45 to Urbana, at the first stop light, Airport Road turn left (east) Take this road for about 2 miles to a 4 way stop. Turn right (south) and go on this road until you get to a stop light. This is the intersection of Route 150 and 130. continue thru the light south, Villa Grove is about 16 miles.

Once in Villa Grove the School will be on the right.

You can take Route 45 to University Ave in Urbana (the old 5 Points), turn left go to the stop light and turn right, take this to the next stop light, 130 and 150, turn right and follow this as explained above.

I-57 Route:

From I-57. Exit At Pesotum, Exit 220, Route 45. Turn right, west and follow Route 45 south to County Road 1450—about 3-4 miles. Turn left onto 1450 and go east to Villa Grove. Once in town you will turn left (north) onto 130 and the high school will be on the left.
