Directions to Watseka Schools

There are several ways to get to Watseka from Paxton. This is the “safest” on the highway.

If you take I-57 to Gilman, turn left at the 4 way stop (Route 45) and follow this thru town. Stay on Route 24 East.

If you take 45 north to Gilman just follow it into town and then stay on Route 24 East.

For High School Football, Volleyball, Softball, Track (Junior also):

Follow Route 24 east thru Crescent City, then into Watseka. Take this thru downtown to the 5^th street stoplight; There is a “jiffy lube” on your right and a CVS on the left. Turn right. Follow this to Lincoln, five blocks or so. Turn left onto Lincoln. Then turn right on Belmont. The school/track is on the left.

For Baseball, Turn right on 4^th Street and go to Legion Park.

Glen Raymond Schools, other junior high sports:

Turn right on Second Street and go to Mulberry Street. Glen Raymond is on the corner.

For Junior High Baseball:

The ball field is directly across from the Burger King on Route 1—just past the Rural King (Big R?) store.
