Start—The start is by the shot put area by the interstate.

The first mile goes north onto the junior high playground area—this is also part of the current Junior High course.  It is rough in areas, but is needed to add distance and to allow for separation of runners.

There is asphalt on the parking lot side (south side) of the playground---this is needed due to drainage ditches.

Follow the road (not on it) back towards the start area, then by the tree you will turn left towards the greenhouse and go behind the school.  This is like the last few years.

There is asphalt there and new dirt, but then you will head up the hill.   The mile mark is the tall oak tree on the hill. Turn like in the past at the top of the hill and go inside the fence and follow this to the far west end and turn right and go back to the start.

Follow the same loop out to the north.  The 2 mile mark is at the turn in the road on the return of the loop.  Follow this back to the greenhouse, around the school, up the hill and into the fence area, thru the start.

Difference on the last mile---you will not go back to the far loop.  At the Prairie Grass you will turn back to the greenhouse and follow this to the school---runners will go across the practice area to the finish line—the same spot as it has been in the last several years.
