Kelli Vaughn |
|
Mrs. Vaughn is originally from Burlington, Iowa, and graduated from Western Illinois University in 1990. She taught for three years in Rantoul before arriving at PBL in 1993. Mrs. Vaughn has coached volleyball for thirteen years. She received her Masters Degree in 2007 from Eastern Illinois University. Mrs. Vaughn has had several coaching highlights during her tenure as the 8th grade volleyball coach. In 1996, her first PBL team won the Regional & Sectional Championship and advanced to the State Tournament. In 1999, her team won the Regional Championship before losing a heartbreaker in the Sectional Championship, and her 2004 team set a school record for wins in a season with 19, including nineteen in a row before losing their lone match to eventual state qualifier, Rantoul, in the Regional Championship. In 2006, Mrs. Vaughn's 8th grade team won the Regional and Sectional Championship on their way to PBL's second appearance at the IESA State Tournament. Mrs. Vaughn and her husband Rusty, have an eight year old daughter, Kelsey. |

| Kara Harrison |

Mrs.Harrison has been teaching in the PBL school district for twelve years. She grew up in Paxton, and attended Paxton High School. She graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 1991, and currently teaches math at PBL High School. Mrs. Harrison has coached volleyball for fifteen years. In addition to her coaching duties at PBL Junior High, she is also the assistant volleyball coach at PBL High School. Mrs. Harrison's coaching highlight came in 2002, when her 7th grade team claimed the Regional Championship. Mrs. Harrison lives in rural Paxton with her husband Tim, and their children, Kacey, and Kody. |
