Meeting called to order.

Show-Me-Dough Fundraising products (pastry dough & cookie dough) delivery on
Tuesday, March 17, 2009. Volunteers are needed to help distribute the product to
students and help with check-out. All orders must be paid for by check and must be
paid for before the product can be distributed to the students.

Concessions were down but U of I this year. They've asked us to take over one of the
new booths on the West side. The new booth requires 15 workers and a U of I staff
member due deep fryer use. Lisa Magers is going to investigate the difference in
profit between the old booth vs the new booth. Lisa reported that there are still a
couple of accounts not updated because she needs to contact the parents/guardians
regarding which students account it should be deposited into.

HS concessions wrapped up ad numbers have been turned into Mary Beth Coady the
Treasurer. A report on trip account totals will be available after the fundraiser.

Salute to Veterans dinner/auction/dinner coming up in about 10 weeks. More
volunteers are need to help with gathering silent auction items. It was discussed
that fewer items would be collected in hopes of more gainer higher bids.

Mr. Hess discussed:

The students recently participated in solo & ensemble. The students will be given
their adjudication sheets from the judges to share with their parents.

March 17th. Student Achievement Night. It was intended to recognize the success of
the marching band program. Unfortunately, is it the same time as the Jr. High Solo &
Ensemble,  and the FFA Chapter Banquet. It's possible that a chamber ensemble can
attend but that has not been determined as of yet.

Coming soon: SVC at Momence, which is a week from tonight on March 16th. Concert
time is 7pmweek from tonight. Directions are on the PBL website.

Super State CD sent in.

New band uniforms have been approved and ordered. The existing band uniforms will be
held on to incase there's a problem with the new uniforms which are to be delivered
in July. The old uniforms will be sold en masse eventually.

Rod will take care of moving the March Band prop flat out of the American Legion shed.

Mr. Hess passed out a copy of the existing By Laws & constitution. Things will need
to be reviewed and updated prior to filing for as a 503C.

Band camp will begin July 27th. Marching show for this year are selections from
Andrew Lloyd Weber's Phantom of the opera. We received a 15% discount  because we
ordered early.

Interesting tid bit, a web tracker was installed on the website that generates
statistics. On average, the website is being looked at 177 times per week.

Meeting adjourned.

Respectfully,

Barbara M. Hess
