Clara Peterson Parents, If you drop off your student in the morning, and/ or pick up your student in the afternoon, please do not drop off or pick up on Franklin Street. Please use the drop off and pick up lane on the south side of Clara Peterson. This is for the safety of all students. Also, cars are not permitted in the bus lane before 8:30 am, or after 2:30 pm. Thank you for your cooperation in this safety matter for our students.

Clara Peterson had a false fire alarm today. All students and staff safely evacuated the building. At this time, all students are back in school and activities will resume as usual.
Aunt Millie's Bakeries announced that they will be ending their School Spirit program on December 31, 2019 due to low participation. Clara Peterson Elementary School will continue to collect labels until Wednesday, December 18. Please send in all School Spirit UPCs by December 18 so they can be submitted to Aunt Millie's before winter break. Thank you to everyone who has participated with this fundraiser!
On Monday, November 11, Clara Peterson will honor our Veterans and participate in the annual Veterans Day Ceremony at PBL HS. Students will be bussed to the high school at 8:20 and will return to Clara Pete around 9:40am to resume normal day activites.
Clara Peterson will host Parent Teacher Conferences Wednesday, November 6 and Thursday, November 7. School will dismiss at 2:20 both days. We hope to see many of you at conferences!
The Clara Peterson Halloween Parade for all PreK, K and 1st grade students will take place inside Clara Peterson today at 1:15 pm. We will parade through the hallways and commons on the first floor.
Clara Peterson Family Reading Night will be tomorrow night from 5:00-7:00 in the commons and the media center. The Book Fair will Be locates in the media center. Clara Pete PIT Crew will have a hot dog dinner for all families for $2.00.
PBL staff will wear blue tomorrow to support Sullivan School District #300 and the loss they suffered Friday evening. Blue was the favorite color of the young student who lost his life tragically Friday evening.
