Students in Mrs. Sawyer’s enrichment classes from Clara Peterson Elementary School & PBL Junior High School attended the U of I Engineering Open House on Friday, March 31st. Engineering students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign set aside time on Friday, March 31st to show off what they have been working on all year long. Students from every discipline of engineering set up exhibits to display the important role that science plays in everyday life and to show the difference that technology will make in the future. Students saw exhibits ranging from robotic hands, solar cars, a coffee-serving robot, to an oobleck pool and DIY plastic.
