The PBL Junior High School LEGO League Team – Top Hats is hosting a LEGO League Open House on Wednesday, November 29th at 5:30pm to showcase the work they have done over the last couple months in preparation for their upcoming regional competition this Saturday, December 2nd. The Open House will start in the JH Library and the team will present their Innovative Project and their Robot Presentation. The team will then move to Computer Lab 122 to demonstrate their Robot and the Robot games.
The team started their season in September and is a balance of returning members and several new members this year. It has been a learning experience for the whole team as the theme for this year is MasterPiece – First in Show. First in Show looks at how the arts are incorporated into STEM creating STEAM. The team would like to thank Mr. Breen, the junior high band director, for working with them on their Innovation project.
On Saturday, December 2nd the team will be heading to Urbana, IL for the 20-team regional competition at the Electrical & Computer Engineering Building located at 306 N. Wright St. in Urbana, IL.
