On Thursday, May 8, 2025, we had a wonderful time welcoming the 5th grade students and their teachers from Clara Peterson Elementary School for our annual 5th Grade Tour.
The 5th graders got to enjoy lunch with us, had some fun during recess, and then went on an exciting tour filled with activities to help them learn all about junior high life.
Our amazing junior high students in Mrs. Sawyer's enrichment class did a fantastic job creating and leading the entire tour. The 5th graders participated in some great activities, including:
A student panel in the library where they could ask our junior high students questions about what to expect.
A fun bingo game in the art room, all about the junior high.
A walking tour that explored both the inside and outside of our building.
We loved having them here and hope they learned a lot about what junior high is like!
