PBL Junior High's LEGO League program is having another fantastic season, expanding its reach to allow all interested students to participate! This year, we're proud to support two highly dedicated teams: the Technic Tophats Unearthed and the Encrypted Earthshakers. With 18 students involved, the growth of the program has been a huge success, ensuring every student gets a chance to explore STEM.
The 2025 LEGO League Challenge theme, Unearthed, has our students exploring the exciting intersection of technology and archaeology. Our teams have been busy learning how modern technology helps us uncover and learn about our world's history and our own community's past.
Students are applying the engineering and scientific method to solve real-world problems. They are having a great time collaborating, problem-solving, and growing as a unified team. This hands-on experience is not only fun but is also building crucial skills for their future!
Join Us! Open House & Competition
We invite families and the community to see the incredible work our teams have been doing!
Open House: Join us on Monday, November 24th in the Library from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM to see the teams demonstrate their work and robots.
Illinois Qualifier: The teams are eagerly preparing for their official competition on Saturday, December 6th at the University of Illinois College of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Come cheer us on!
