BLOOMINGTON, IL — On April 28th, PBL Junior High School received recognition at the 3rd Annual IESA Celebration of Excellence for winning the Division G Sportsmanship Award. Held at the DoubleTree Hotel, this event honored schools that exemplify outstanding character and respect throughout the school year.
The Division Sportsmanship Award
The Division Sportsmanship Award is a peer-nominated honor given to schools that demonstrate exceptional behavior and integrity. To qualify, a school must participate in at least five IESA activities and maintain a clean record with no ejections or unsportsmanlike conduct reports from players, coaches, or fans. PBL Junior High’s commitment to these high standards earned them an official IESA Sportsmanship banner, which will be proudly displayed in the school gymnasium.
