The Class of 2030 (8th grade students) lit up the Commons on Saturday, May 9th, for the "Glow Big or Glow Home" 8th Grade Dance. Under beautiful spring skies, students enjoyed a high-energy evening featuring a live DJ, concessions, and a raffle filled with themed baskets, experiences, and gift cards. The festivities extended to the playground, where students spent the night playing basketball, 4-square, and bean bags. Organized by the dedicated Class of 2030 parent group, this successful event not only provided a fantastic celebration for the students but also raised funding to support future high school activities like prom and more.
The celebration of our 8th graders continues soon. Please join us on Thursday, May 21st, for our 8th Grade Recognition event at 9:00am in the PBL Junior High School Gym. All parents, families, and friends are invited. Following the recognition event we will have a cupcake reception in the Commons Area for pictures and final goodbyes. 8th grade students are not required to attend school on the last day, Friday, May 22nd.
