Calling all junior high students! The musical kicks off next week. There is no theater experience or choir enrollment necessary—this is your opportunity to learn all about theater and the performing arts.
The Audition Process
1. Learning Rehearsal (Monday, Aug. 24)
Time: 3:15 PM – 5:00 PM
Details: Students will learn small sections of songs and a short dance routine.
2. Auditions (Choose Tuesday, Aug. 25 OR Wednesday, Aug. 26)
Time: Begins at 3:00 PM
Details: Sign up for one day to perform (singing alone and in groups, reading alone and with others, and dancing in small groups). We want every student to have the opportunity to show us what they can do!
3. Callbacks (Thursday, Aug. 27 - If needed)
We may ask for specific readings, singing, or dancing. If a student isn’t called back, it doesn’t mean they aren’t going to be in the cast!
