On Saturday, November 12th Hunter Turner (tuba) and Morgan Hylbert (trumpet) played in the 2022 Illinois Music Educators Associations District 3 Junior High Honor Band at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, IL. Both Hunter and Morgan auditioned for this band and only the top scoring individuals from District 3 were chosen. The District 3 Junior High Honor Band rehearsed all day on Saturday, November 12th at Olivet Nazarene University with the rest of the students who were chosen and with a guest conductor. The group then performed a concert at 2:00pm. Congratulations to both Hunter and Morgan.
