The PBL Junior High School 8th grade Career Fair is scheduled for Tuesday, February 7, 2023. Mrs. Johnson, the school counselor, has put together an outstanding list of professionals to come and talk to the 8th graders about their careers. The day will kick off with donuts and juice sponsored by the Paxton Masonic Lodge. The student will then listen to the keynote speaker, Phil Edwards who is a retired firefighter and motivational speaker. The students will then attend five different career sessions where they will learn about careers they are interested in pursuing. The students will wrap up their day learning about the Early College and Career Academy, CEO Business Program, and the ICE Work program for high school students. We send a big thank you to the professionals that have volunteered their time to come speak to our 8th grade students about their careers.
