On Friday, March 3rd, our Panther Partners went to Old Orchard Lanes. Panther Partners is a mentoring program between the junior high and high school where high school students mentor one or two junior high students. The high school mentors build relationships with the junior high students and help them with homework, peer relationships, organizational skills, along with many other things. We would like to give a shoutout to all of the teachers and counselors that made this outing possible! Click the link for more pictures from this great day! 🐾

The mission in 6th grade science with Mrs. Pondel is to plan a manned trip to Mars. This week we studied what and how astronauts eat. We also learned that in space, astronauts need 25% more calories than we do on Earth! On Friday we made “astronaut food”! (adding water to dry milk and dry pudding mix). Thank you Mrs. Pondel for such an engaging unit for our students!
