Dates: Monday, October 27th – Monday, November 3rd
The fair will be open throughout the school day and after school until 3:45PM every day in the Junior High Library. We will have a Family Night on Tuesday, October 28th, and the fair will be open from 2:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
During Family Night, we will also host our 10th Annual Edible Books Festival, where students can make a representation of a book out of food (typically students choose to make this out of cake). Students can work individually or in a team of 2 with another PBL Junior High student. Submissions must arrive at the library no later than 5:15 P.M. on Tuesday, October 28th. Additionally, students can not drop off submissions any earlier than the morning of Tuesday, October 28th. Voting takes place between 5:30 and 6:00 P.M. at the book fair, and anyone at the fair during that time is eligible to vote for their favorite entry! Winners will be announced by 6:15 P.M.

PBL families,
The City of Paxton, with Clark Dietz’s assistance, is preparing a funding application for the Illinois Department of Transportation’s Safe Routes to School Grant Program for the Clayton Hale Pedestrian Bridge Rehabilitation Project. The Safe Routes to School Grant Program provides funding to improve conditions for school children to walk or bike to school.
In order to assist, we are asking parents to complete a survey about students walking and biking to school.
Thank you for your help!
