PBL JH Yearbook order forms are due on Friday, April 16th. If you need a yearbook order form, please see Miss Bruens in the Library at PBL JH. You also have until April 30th to order online with code 55270B www.inter-state.com/yearbook.

PBL JH: In 4th Qtr. Science classes all students are taking Project Lead The Way courses. In 6th grade students are taking Computer Science for Innovators & Makers, in 7th grade students are taking Design & Modeling, & in 8th grade students are taking Medical Detectives.

8th grade students at PBL JH had another visit from PBL High School today. This year we are partnering with PBL HS in a program called Connections. Today Mrs. Turner & Mrs. Duley met with 8th grade students to discuss academic expectations for their upcoming freshman year.


The junior high track team held its first home meet of the season tonight against Cissna Park and Iroquois West. The 7th and 8th grade girls teams won, the 8th grade boys team won, and the 7th grade boys team placed second. Great job Panthers!

The girls’ basketball games against Milford have been canceled. No practice or pictures tonight.

This week is National Assistant Principals Week. PBL Junior High School would like to thank and recognize Mr. Lawler for all his hardwork and dedication to our students, staff, and families. #APWeek21

8th grade students had visit from PBL High School students today. This year we are partnering with PBL HS in a program called Connections. Each Friday our 8th graders have a visit from PBL HS to cover a variety of items as our 8th graders prepare for their transition to PBL HS.


Due to PBL's spring break from March 29-April 5, there will not be food pick up next week. The food pick up program will resume on Tuesday, April 6.

6th Grade Science students in Computer Science for Innovators & Makers had a visitor from John Deere. Eric Crawford is a Senior Software Developer at John Deere in Champaign, IL. In this new Project Lead The Way (PLTW) course we are partnering with John Deere & Mr. Crawford.

Next week, PBL Choral Boosters will be hosting a spirit week at PBL Junior High School to support Music In Our Schools Month. We encourage everyone to join in the fun and participate, students and staff alike!


Congratulations to the PBL JH Scholastic Bowl Team. They have been competing in the Spring COVID Challenge. This competition has 43 teams from 13 different states. The PBL JH Scholastic Bowl Team placed 10th overall and 4th in Illinois. Way to go Panthers!
