Mrs Talbert’s Kindergarten class had a Craft Day for the holiday season on Thursday afternoon.
Today was a day of giving at Clara Peterson! Kindergarten and 1st grade students took part in Grinch week and wrapped up the week with Grinch Giving. Students collected toiletries to donate to the local food pantry to benefit many area families. What a Great day to be a Panther!
PBL Super Hero Colton Coy visited Mrs. Gooden’s Kindergarten and Mrs. Steiner’s 2nd graders today for some reading time. So amazing, the influence these veteran Panthers have on our Clara Pete kids! It’s ALWAYS a great day to be a Panther! 💛💙
Aunt Millie's Bakeries announced that they will be ending their School Spirit program on December 31, 2019 due to low participation. Clara Peterson Elementary School will continue to collect labels until Wednesday, December 18. Please send in all School Spirit UPCs by December 18 so they can be submitted to Aunt Millie's before winter break. Thank you to everyone who has participated with this fundraiser!

Clara Peterson students enjoyed a Thanksgiving Feast today
On Monday, November 11, Clara Peterson will honor our Veterans and participate in the annual Veterans Day Ceremony at PBL HS. Students will be bussed to the high school at 8:20 and will return to Clara Pete around 9:40am to resume normal day activites.
Clara Peterson will host Parent Teacher Conferences Wednesday, November 6 and Thursday, November 7. School will dismiss at 2:20 both days. We hope to see many of you at conferences!

The Clara Peterson Halloween Parade for all PreK, K and 1st grade students will take place inside Clara Peterson today at 1:15 pm. We will parade through the hallways and commons on the first floor.
2nd graders in Mrs Steiner’s and Mrs Johnson’s classes enjoy LEGO time in one of the new collaboration spaces at Clara Pete. Students created houses with a purpose. Students then presented their plans to one other and voted on best design.
Clara Peterson Family Reading Night will be tomorrow night from 5:00-7:00 in the commons and the media center. The Book Fair will Be locates in the media center. Clara Pete PIT Crew will have a hot dog dinner for all families for $2.00.

A second grade student enjoys one of the cool new reading nooks in the brand new Clara Peterson media center Monday afternoon.
PBL staff will wear blue tomorrow to support Sullivan School District #300 and the loss they suffered Friday evening. Blue was the favorite color of the young student who lost his life tragically Friday evening.
