Come join us April 10-12 for our Into The Woods Musical. This will be hosted in the PBL High School Gymnasium. Tickets are $8 for Adult and $5 for students. Cash only. We are excited to share the hard work of our theater students with you! As you plan your family’s visit, we want to provide a quick content "heads-up." While Act 1 is a whimsical journey through classic fairy tales, Act 2 explores more mature themes, including grief and the loss of major characters. Because of these heavier elements, parents may find the second half of the show less suitable for very young children. We encourage you to use your discretion to ensure the best experience for your family.

After a long winter filled with illness, it’s more important than ever to refocus on consistent school attendance. Every day in the classroom matters—students build skills, stay connected with their peers, and keep up with important learning that’s hard to replace.
As we move into the spring months, let’s work together to rebuild strong attendance habits. Families, your support makes a big difference in helping students show up ready to learn each day!
📚 Attendance Goal: Students should aim to stay under 17.5 total absences for the entire school year. Staying on track now can make a huge impact on academic success by the end of the year.
Let’s finish the year strong—every day counts!

We invite parents to provide feedback to help drive our school improvement efforts. The survey is called the 5Essentials Survey, which helps schools and districts identify areas of strength and those needing support. There is an optional parent survey that accompanies the teacher and student surveys. PBL schools will get a report from the parent survey if the school achieves a 20% response rate. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey.
It’s Social Work Week, and we are shouting out the four incredible individuals who keep our Panther family strong! 🐾💙
In a school district, social workers wear many hats: they are advocates, listeners, problem-solvers, and the "calm in the storm" for our students. Thank you for your tireless dedication to our kids and our community.
Whether you’re helping a student navigate a tough day or connecting a family with vital resources, your impact is felt far beyond the classroom. We are so lucky to have you on the PBL team!

Join us for the 37th Annual PBL FFA Farm Toy Show on Saturday, February 14, from 9:00 AM–2:30 PM at PBL High School!
This free, family-friendly event brings together farm toy collectors and dealers from across the region to celebrate agriculture past and present. Enjoy visiting vendor booths, collector displays, a children’s tractor pull at noon, a silent auction, and concessions served all day.
Don’t forget — this year’s feature tractor is the Case 430, and fewer than 25 remain. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!
Bring the whole family and spend the day exploring agriculture while supporting the PBL FFA Chapter. We hope to see you there!

This March, we will host a free dental clinic on campus for junior high and high school students, which is especially convenient for parents of students entering 6th and 9th grade who are required to submit proof of a dental examination by May 15, 2026. Because these examinations remain valid for 18 months, eligible children can meet their school requirements through this partnership between Orland Park Dental Services and the Illinois Department of Public Aid. Licensed dentists, hygienists, and assistants will bring portable equipment to the school to provide comprehensive services, which may include exams, cleanings, fluoride treatments, sealants to protect the chewing surfaces of back teeth, and the application of Silver Diamine Fluoride (SDF) to stop the progression of tooth decay. To participate, parents can complete the registration form via computer or smartphone at the Dental Clinic Registration link, though physical paper copies are also available for pickup in the main office.
