The One Word Challenge is up & running at PBL JH. In Advisory Classes students are coming up with their Advisory Classes "One Word" for the new year. The next step will be students picking their own "One Word" for the new year.


Today 7th Grade Students in Design & Modeling with Mr. Rubarts were collaborating & brainstorming ideas for the Therapeutic Toy Design Challenge. PBL JH is implementing Project Lead The Way courses to further enhance the rigor & relevance of our curriculum.

8th Grade Volleyball defeats Ridgeview in two sets to go (4-0) on the season. Both teams back in action at home against Buckley St Johns on January 23rd at 5:30.

Our 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams both won tonight at St. Malachy in Rantoul. Both teams will be in action against Ridgeview Tuesday night at home beginning at 5:30.

The 7th & 8th Grade Boys Basketball Teams were in action against Iroquois West on January 9th. We had two close games and a great turn out by families. 7th Grade won 34-32.

Our first 6th grade basketball tournament game tomorrow has been forfeited by the other team. We now play at 6 PM. Bus leaves at 4 PM. Good Luck, Panthers!!🐾🐾🐾🏀

PBL 8th Grade VB wins in 2 sets at Hoopeston Area. (2-0)

Our 7th & 8th Grade Girls Volleyball Teams began the 2020 volleyball season against Gifford on Tuesday night. 8th Grade won in 2 sets. Way to go Lady Panthers!

Welcome back from winter break. Today students are in session for a full day with a 3:14pm dismissal time. Have a great week back and here we go Panthers with a brand new year and a brand new start.

In Advisory Classes our Student Council put together a Door Decorating Contest. The overall winner for the JH was Mrs. Ping's Advisory and they have earned a pizza party sponsored by our Student Council for when we return from Winter Break.



On Friday, December 20th we held a Winter Celebration after lunch for students. Students were able to participate in volleyball, trivia, board games, technology rooms, arts & crafts, and more. Here are some pictures from the fun had by all.

In our main hallway at the JH we have a new bulletin board with Be The "I" In Kind. Thanks to all our students in promoting kindness.

Mrs. Goodson's 8th Grade Social Studies Class has been working on projects creating inventions from the Industrial Revolution. We currently have these displayed in the main hallway at the JH.

On Sunday, December 8th our 6th-8th grade band and chorus groups performed at 4:30pm in the HS Gym for the winter concert. Both programs did a great job and we had an amazing turn out with families.
