Junior High students are participating in an attendance competition. Each day of perfect attendance in 1st hour equals a puzzle piece & the first class to complete the puzzle wins. Congrats to Mrs. Duley and Mr. Johnson for both having 8th Grade Classes that won on the same day.
At PBL JH our Advisory Classes meet during our lunch & lunch recess block. Creating relationships, students self-monitoring attendance & grades, and helping to navigate the JH experience.

PBL JH is building a partnership with Gibson Area Hospital to work with our 8th Grade Enrichment Course called Medical Detectives. The overall purpose and action behind this partnership is to inspire students to work in the medical field.
Girls’ Basketball Open Gym has been canceled for tonight!
The junior high softball team will play Tri-Point in Paxton beginning at 4:30 today.
The junior high baseball game against Cissna Park has been moved to PAXTON today! 4:15 start time.
Girls’ Basketball Try-Outs for 6th, 7th and 8th grade will be held on Monday and Tuesday, September 9th & 10th from 6:30 - 8:00 AM in the junior high gym. All students must bring a signed insurance waiver and have a current physical on file in order to try-out.

PBL JH Baseball @ Clifton has been postponed due to inclement weather in Clifton today.
This year we have new attendance initiative with "Attend Today, Achieve Tomorrow" Throughout the year we will be sharing information with the learning community to create awareness with attendance data and the importance of attendance at school.
The first day of school is Friday, September 6th. The front doors of the JH will open at 7:30am and student can pick up class schedules at grade level tables.
