
On Wednesday, we had the honor of hosting our PBL Fresh/Soph Track Invite. Out of the teams that were there we came out on top! Our Girls Team won first place. These are our Freshman and Sophomore girls. Make sure to give them a shoutout!


Tomorrow is Bus Driver Appreciation Day! Let's give a big shoutout to all our amazing bus drivers for keeping our wheels turning smoothly! You're the superheroes of our school routes. Don't forget to show some love and thank your awesome bus drivers!


Last Friday, our Girls Track Team showed their strength at GCMS’ Falcon invite. They secured an impressive third place out of 17 teams, earning a trophy for their outstanding performance.


Here's the snapshot of the winning team from the UIUC Engineering Open House High School Design Competition. Given just 30 minutes, they built a bridge using a maximum of 100 popsicle sticks. Their bridge impressed with its efficient weight-bearing capability, securing them the top spot.

Yesterday, we kicked off our Girl's Basketball Pop-Up Camp with Coach Taylor Runyan leading the way! Girls from 5th to 11th grade joined in, practicing dribbling, shooting, and running some drills.

All of our schools had the opportunity to see our eclipse yesterday. Mrs. Sawyer's enrichment class took a special trip to Paris, Illinois to be in the path of totality. This was an incredible learning opportunity that was a first for a lot of our students!

Today is National School Librarian Day. Make sure we all give them a special thanks for everything they do! Without them we wouldn't have our beautiful libraries or endless recommendations of books.


Recently one of our students, Elizabeth Megson, was able to attend a Perry Outreach Program hosted by The Perry Initiative. This is a one day career day for young women in high school! She completed hands-on mock surgeries and learned from local medical professionals & engineers.
