Today is National School Librarian Day. Make sure we all give them a special thanks for everything they do! Without them we wouldn't have our beautiful libraries or endless recommendations of books.

Recently one of our students, Elizabeth Megson, was able to attend a Perry Outreach Program hosted by The Perry Initiative. This is a one day career day for young women in high school! She completed hands-on mock surgeries and learned from local medical professionals & engineers.

Today is Paraprofessional Appreciation Day. Paraprofessionals do a little of everything in our schools. They support classes, are assigned to specific students in special education, help with supporting the general running of the school, and help supervise students.

Our PBL HS students start their testing this week. Make sure all Chromebooks are charged. This will help it go smoothly. Have a great testing week Panthers!

Freshman, Sophomores and Juniors: Testing is next week. Remember the following to get prepped for testing! Find those chargers, bring them on test day and have your chromebook FULLY charged! Get a good night’s sleep and eat a good breakfast as there is absolutely NO FOOD or DRINKS allowed. Also, no CELL PHONES, earbuds, apple watches, bags, purses, colored pens/pencils, or papers of any kind in the testing room. Please bring an approved calculator. You will also report back to class once testing is over. Feel free to check in the counseling office with any other questions you may have.

The Panther Partners mentoring program between the High School and Junior High took their field trip today to Old Orchard Lanes in Champaign for pizza and bowling.
