Congratulations to your PBLHigh School Girl's Track State Qualifiers! The following athletes will compete on Thursday, May 18th at the State Meet at Eastern Illinois University. Emily Robidoux will compete in the Shot Put. Kate Wilson will compete in the Pole Vault. Bailey Luebchow will compete in the Pole Vault. Trixie Johnson will compete in the 400m dash and the 800m dash. Good luck to our athletes!


Hey Sophomores & Juniors - are you not sure what you want to do after high school? Not sure if college is for you? Looking for an opportunity to earn some financial assistance for a trade school or certification testing? Consider participating in the TRADES BOOTCAMP sponsored by the PBL Ag Department and the Paxton Masonic Lodge. Participants will get hands-on experience with trades ranging from Carpentry, Plumbing/HVAC, Welding & Diesel Mechanics. The Masons are planning to provide some financial assistance for training and certifications for some students who complete this program.
The Bootcamp will meet once during the months of June, July, and August. Dates will be announced as they are scheduled.

We will host the IHSA Girls Track Sectional this Thursday, May 11th. Field events will start at 4 PM & running events at 6 PM.

Paxton-Buckley-Loda High School’s annual Academic Awards Night will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday May 23rd, in the commons area at PBL Junior High School. Seniors will be recognized for outstanding achievements or scholarships earned during their senior year. There will be a reception sponsored by the PBL Education Foundation starting at 6:15 p.m.
Family and friends of graduating seniors are welcome to attend.

The PBL High School 5Essentials survey for parents is open until Friday, 3/31. As of right now 11% of our parents have completed this survey. Our goal is to have 20% or more complete the survey. Attention Parents of HS Juniors and Seniors:
Students received their invitation to prom recently. Note that post prom and prom the dance are two different events. The school sponsors the dance. We have no information regarding post prom.
All prom sign up forms can be found on the table by the front doors at the high school. All sign up forms and money must be in an envelope with your name on it when turning in.
Please give this directly to Mrs. Wood no later than April 18.
A guest is any non PBL student OR PBL freshman/sophomore. (The guest must be in high school or if graduated must be 20 years of age or younger)

Seniors: The Virginia Graham Scholarship has been updated with new criteria and due date (March 31st). Please check the counseling website or stop by the counseling office for an application.

SAT and PSAT Testing will be April 12. SAT is a state graduation requirement for all Juniors, so you must be present unless you are sick! More information will be emailed out soon. If you have any questions please contact the counseling office.
