Good morning PBL Families, This is a reminder that PBL is providing FREE breakfast and lunch to all students. Also for remote learning families or Clara Peterson families who pick up their children prior to lunch are eligible to sign up for WEEKLY meals (see link below). Here are a couple important reminders about food pickup: 1.) Families will receive 5 breakfast and 5 lunch meals per child. 2.) Families need to fill out a form for each child (i.e. a family with 3 students would complete 3 forms). 3.) Forms need to be completed by Sunday, September 27 at 6:00pm. 4.) Families can pick up food from 1:00pm-3:00pm at PBL Junior High School where the Commons Area is located. If you cannot make this time, please call Melissa Robbins at the Junior High to arrange for an alternative pickup at 217-379-9202. Start planning now for Wednesday, October 14. On this day all seniors will report to school to complete the SAT and all freshmen-juniors will stay at home for a remote learning day.

Attention Class of 2021. You should be receiving your graduation packet in the mail from Jostens. Orders are due by October 5th and may be submitted online, by mail, or by dropping the items off in the high school office. Email Jostens with any questions at troy.hall@Jostens.com.

If you are a high school remote learner and need assistance, beginning on Tuesday, September 1st, tutoring/assistance will be available in the Little Assembly of the high school every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:15-3:15.

Picture day for PBLHS is Friday, September 4th. We are eliminating paper order forms and will offer online pre-ordering of school pictures. If you have difficulties with ordering online, please email Mrs. Ager. Remote learners will be assigned a 30 minute window starting at 1:15. Tomorrow's (8/26) high school cross country meet will now start at 6:00 pm due to the expected heat.

Just a reminder to all parents to certify your child’s health each morning prior to sending them to school. This is a very simple and quick process through the Skyward Parent Portal or the Skyward App.

All ECCA classes will begin next week with a mix of in-person and online learning. Students enrolled in the Criminal Justice program will have in-person class on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Students enrolled in the CNA program will have in-person class on Thursday & Friday.

If you have PE, please pay close attention to what day you have this so you dress appropriately, which does include wearing athletic shoes. Students will not be changing clothes for PE this year, but will be participating in a variety of physical activities still.

If your child is a remote learner, you may pick up their district issued Chromebook from 8:00-3:30 any school day between now and Friday. Also, all students who are remote learners will begin coursework on Monday, August 24th. Log in information will be emailed prior to Monday.
