Congratulations to your PBLHigh School Girl's Track State Qualifiers! The following athletes will compete on Thursday, May 18th at the State Meet at Eastern Illinois University. Emily Robidoux will compete in the Shot Put. Kate Wilson will compete in the Pole Vault. Bailey Luebchow will compete in the Pole Vault. Trixie Johnson will compete in the 400m dash and the 800m dash. Good luck to our athletes!

State Qualifiers
Hey Sophomores & Juniors - are you not sure what you want to do after high school? Not sure if college is for you? Looking for an opportunity to earn some financial assistance for a trade school or certification testing? Consider participating in the TRADES BOOTCAMP sponsored by the PBL Ag Department and the Paxton Masonic Lodge. Participants will get hands-on experience with trades ranging from Carpentry, Plumbing/HVAC, Welding & Diesel Mechanics. The Masons are planning to provide some financial assistance for training and certifications for some students who complete this program. The Bootcamp will meet once during the months of June, July, and August. Dates will be announced as they are scheduled. We will host the IHSA Girls Track Sectional this Thursday, May 11th. Field events will start at 4 PM & running events at 6 PM. Tickets can be purchased online at this link: https://gofan.co/app/events/985134?schoolId=IHSA Cost is $7 if purchased online or $8 cash at the gate.

Paxton-Buckley-Loda High School’s annual Academic Awards Night will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday May 23rd, in the commons area at PBL Junior High School. Seniors will be recognized for outstanding achievements or scholarships earned during their senior year. There will be a reception sponsored by the PBL Education Foundation starting at 6:15 p.m. Family and friends of graduating seniors are welcome to attend.
