PBL will host Du-Pec in the 2nd round of the playoffs on Saturday, November 9th at 2 pm! Spectators-the gates will open at 12:30 pm. The cost is $7 and is CASH ONLY. No passes can be accepted. Hope to see a large crowd to cheer on our kids!
Get ready to step into the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss! PBL Junior High School is thrilled to present Seussical Jr. the Musical. Join us for a colorful and imaginative journey through the beloved stories of Dr. Seuss. Our talented cast, crew, and dedicated volunteers have been working tirelessly to bring this magical production to life. Performance dates in the PBL High School Gymnasium are as follows: Friday, November 22nd at 7:00 PM, Saturday, November 23rd at 7:00 PM, & Sunday, November 24th at 2:00 PM.
Huge congrats to the Girls Cross Country team on making the IHSA state final! This is an incredible accomplishment - it's the first time in PBL history that a girls team has made it this far! The last time we saw a state final appearance was back in 1981 when we were the Paxton Mustangs. Let's show them our support!

75 PBL Jr High and High School Choir and Musical participants enjoyed a trip to see Shrek the Musical at the State Farm Center in Champaign last night! Thank you to the Choir Parents Booster Club for sponsoring and organizing our trip and to the PBL Education Foundation for a $2000 grant to help cover the expenses.
Providing the opportunity to experience a professional musical production inspires students to create an exciting production. It also provides the opportunity to learn about future career options in fine arts.
Routes 1 and 4 will be combined this morning so pick up times will be slightly altered.

Congratulations to Brayden Kief, Lauren Krumwiede, Dylan Otto, Aubree Sawyer, and Lauren Sawyer for qualifying for the All-District Choir! They prepared 3 songs along with scales and arpeggios to audition for the choir. The All-District Choir performance is on Saturday, November 9th at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, IL.
PBL will be hosting a Protecting our Children meeting with Paxton Police Officers and members of the Ford County CHAOS Team on November 13. There will be food and childcare free of charge. Make sure to fill out the Form linked beneath so we can make sure we have enough food and coverage.

Come to the PBL Junior High Girls’ Basketball game on October 29th at 5:30 pm for a night of support for COTA in honor of our 6th grade student Jaxen Peacock who received a double lung transplant and is in recovery! At this event there will be Men’s Illini Basketball Tickets auctioned off at halftime (Donated by WPXN), a 50/50 drawing, gift basket drawing (donated by different groups of PBL staff/teachers/community members), half time 3 point shot contest, and the PBL JH student council will be donating $1 for every bag of popcorn sold. Come join us for a great evening!

The Down Syndrome Awareness Walk will take place this Sunday, September 29th from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the PBL High School Track and the Back Parking Lot. This event is open to anyone and everyone, including parents, students, staff, community members, and more. There will be games and activities from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM, a hot dog meal provided, Old Salty's Food Truck, and more. At 1:15 PM, there will be one ceremonial lap (1/4 mile) completed around the track. All are encouraged to wear blue and yellow to show their support. We hope to see you there!
